Our Founder: Frederic Ozanam

In the words of Our Founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, "the knowledge of social wellbeing and reform is to be learned not only from books nor from the public platform, but by climbing the stairs to the poor mans garret, sitting by his bedside, feeling the same cold that pierces him."

Our Mission:

We are a network of friends inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships and service to those in need.

Our Patron: St. Vincent de Paul

  • Vincent devoted himself entirely to the alleviation of the sufferings of the poor. In 1625 he founded the Congregation of the Mission, his community of priests and brothers. With Louise de Marillac, he co-founded the Daughters of Charity in 1633. In Vincent's words, "In serving the poor, we serve Jesus Christ."
